Let us introduce what we want to cover and where our fun idea began. Making a blog is a great way to present some of the stories about the going-on’s that begin with our local community in Brighton. Although web design has never been a natural skill set for us, we’ve wanted to learn a bit about it so that we can present some of the stories about the memorable instances from our favourite part of the city.
Introductions
Hello and welcome. I’m a young author called Luke Young (LY), and this is going to run through the commotions and pileups on a special street in Brighton’s North Laine. This is where I met my wonderful friend Tilda, who I’ll be sharing this site with. Sydney Street has become quite a big part of our lives, and the idea of expressing that in a blog arose from our hilarious discussions about the moments that keep us smiling in the face of the mundane. There are regulars, and then there are the unique characters among them. There is a local community of flowery participants that I appreciate ever more dearly the longer I’m dwelling away from its core. Joining the sales team at a vintage clothes store reeled me into this environment on a more frequent basis, but now long after leaving that occupation, I still keep coming back for more!
